To promote his 12th studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, Mr. Shawn Carter is currently gracing the world with his Magna Carter tour. At his stop in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 5th, Hova created a moment that the audience will never forget- especially one fan in particular. Enter 12 year-old, Maryland resident Justin seated close to the stage. During Jay’s entire set Justin’s hands gripped a sign that read “Can I Rap For You?” Just before the show ended, the unlikely became reality and Jay-Z hoisted the boy on stage. A common performance tendency of Jigga is to perform accapella- naturally, the first thing Justin requests is no music and then he dives head-first into “Clique.”¬†Watch Justin meet his idol in the blink of an eye but more astoundingly, watch Jay-Z’s breath being taken away not only by Justin’s talent but his bold confidence.
