“Now playas if you choose it you better make sure you don’t abuse it, we’re gonna getcha highhhh-”

The origins of Outkast are rooted in the confines of a high school in Georgia circa 1992. In 1994, 19 years ago today, they gave the world hip-hop, G-Funk, THC-infused icon “Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.” “Myintrotoletyouknow” speaks for itself and the album, as well as properly introduces Antwan Patton and Andre Benjamin- Big Boi and Andre 3000 as we know them today. The Outkast debut album boasts other memorable tracks such as title track “Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik,” “Crumblin ‘erb” and “Player’s Ball.” Listening in retrospect, these songs burst with soul and exceptional musical talent in every aspect. What’s even better about this album is that the weed neva eva -eva -eva runs out. Andre lets the audience know Southern Playalistic is all about the good times, “Jane is rolled up, no gangs be thrown up,” Miss Mary Jane is dankly present the whole time. So smoke out ’til you choke out and get served with southern hospitality off these classic jams…

Pass it to your partner and step back in your Cadillac:

Cannabis Sativa weed reefer yeah, smoke shit:
