April 01, 2013 / by / 1 Comment

World-renowned artist Kaws has become famous for his matchless designs and work with famous streetwear brands. His collaborations with A Bathing Ape and Supreme have made Kaws a household name to many. Unfortunately, Kaws plans to shut down his own clothing line Original Fake at the end of the year. Luckily American fans of the artists work will have a chance to check out his “Passing Through” companion in Philadelphia soon.

For the last two and half years, the 16-foot tall statue has toured around the world, resting in several locations. The statues next stop, Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station is in honor of the Sculpture Plinth Exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. The exhibit opens in October; you’ll be able to stop by and check out the statue in Philly months before!
