It’s nothing new when minor league sports teams put together ridiculous promotions to get more fans to attend their games. Everything from extreme home run derbies to exotic bobble head doll giveaways has taken place in Minor league stadiums. The latest oddity comes from the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

The Philadelphia Flyers minor league affiliate donned some of the most bizarre hockey jerseys anyone has ever seen.

Last Sunday, The Phantoms defeated the Binghamton Senators while wearing these white sweaters designed to celebrate the birthday of their mascot, Dax. How do you feel about the Dax jerseys? Also, see how these jerseys compare to a classic Anaheim design we featured earlier this year.
