Riff-Raff Gets Pharrell Bump
It’s not that the Butterscotch Boss, Neon Icon, Diplo homeboy, Mad Decent golden-boy, Jody Highroller, AKA Riff-Raff particularly needs the Pharrell bump, it’s the principal of the matter. Riff-Raff has become a household name over the past year and a half. Maybe it was his stint on MTV, or his millions of YouTube views, or his Grammy red carpet fashion statements, or just because he’s boys with one of the world’s top super-producers. Regardless of the reason, you have to admit that the kid has worked hard to get where he is and his name is here to stay, whether you like it or not.
Riff-Raff’s new album will reportedly feature at least one exclusively-made Pharrell beat. I don’t even think it’s necessary to go in-depth explaining what this means. If you don’t know who Pharrell is or why his production is a big deal, then do some homework (it will be worth it).
2013 is slated to be a monster year for Riff-Raff. New album aside, he also has a new show coming soon on MTV and will be played by the one and only James Franco in the new movie, “Spring Breakers.” So get your #tanicure on and pay attention, you’ll be seeing a lot more of this dude very soon.
Oh and did I mention? Bitches love Riff-Raff.
