Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Italia
We present the Novitec Rosso Ferrari 458 Italia. In their own words Novitec Rosso provides, “highly developed and precise engine modifications, as well as the highest quality products adopting optimal technical efficiency and avant garde styling”. They have an affinity for Ferrari, as you might’ve guessed. This 458 got an exterior and interior makeover, and since we both know it’s what’s on the inside that counts, we’ll start with the power output. (Note, this model was their big prize at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show)
This Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engine 4.5L v8 and normally produces 562 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. Novitec Rosso gets their hands on it and all the sudden it’s putting out 609 horsepower and 22 more ft-lbs of torque. They also dropped the weight (by roughly 46 pounds) and height (by 35mm). The result is a new top speed of 205mph and 0-60 speed of 3.2 seconds. The new exhaust and engine tune up add to the already impressive engine sound and create a new character for the vehicle. Speaking of new character, the exterior of the car has been enhanced in a number of ways.
They’ve added carbon fiber trim on the mirrors and around the lights and panels on the back and some of the front of the vehicle, as well as carbon fiber side skirts. The wheels are new superlight forged aluminum and they’ve added more downforce with flaps on the front of the vehicle. An already impressive car done with more class and power. Really difficult not to respect a company that manages to do something like that.
