Brew Review: Stone Smoked Porter
REVIEW OVERVIEW
The battle between dark and light beer will rage on between beer aficionados for centuries to come. Apart from the debate, beer fans like myself tend to appreciate both styles for the unique flavors they have to offer. Stone Smoked Porter pours rich and dark; the chocolate and coffee overtones are nicely accented by a subtle Smokey flavor. The smokiness sits gently in the backdrop and adds its own unique touch to the flavor. Although Stone Smoked Porter is dark, it still goes down very smooth and has a crisp smokey finish reminiscent of a warm campfire. Give Stone Smoked Porter a try if you see it on tap or in bottles.
