Lamborghini LP760-4: Dragon Edition

Everybody has heard of Lamborghini but this gem escapes the eye of many, maybe because it’s so fast it’s gone in the blink of an eye. The Lamborghini LP760-4, already an incredibly powerful car, got a makeover from Oakley Design and Refined Marques. These two formerly independent automotive groups now work together to produce top of the line performance packages for Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Porsche. The “Dragon Edition” just sounds like an awesome car to have. If it was a Ford or Toyota “Dragon Edition” it would surely be cool, but this is a Lamborghini so this thing is downright ridiculous.

So let’s talk numbers. The dragon puts out 760 horsepower with its 6.5 litre v12 engine with an impressive top speed of 220mph. Where The Dragon really stands out is the 0-100km (0-62mph) category.  The Dragon rips from 0-62mph in a staggeringly low 2.8 seconds. That’s faster than the Bugatti and the Koenigsegg, which is saying quite a bit. I had always looked at Lamborghini as the most premium exotic performance car you could purchase before you reached the class of supercar, but this vehicle is forcing me to reconsider Lamborghini’s standing amongst the ranks of supercar companies like Pagani, Koenigsegg, and Bugatti. What’s incredible is this vehicle is only a fraction of the price at roughly $441,000.

Oh, one last thing… they’ve only made 3 of these things 2 of which can be seen above and they’re only going to make ten. Get em while they’re hot!
