Koenigsegg Agera R: New King of the Streets?
This is one impressive vehicle. The Agera’s R broke six world land speed records during two test sessions. The Agera takes off like a jet, accelerating from 0-100km/hr (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds. The engineers that built the car belief it can do 272.2 mph with the proper ethanol fuel and specially designed tires. No that is not a typo 272.2 miles per hour ladies and gentlemen.
Perhaps Koenigsegg achieves such unthinkable speed because they manage an incredible power-to-weight ratio. The Agera R generates a massive 790 horsepower per ton of weight. The Koenigsegg’s competition, the infamous Bugatti Veyron, only had a ratio of 440hp per ton. It might be time to crown a new king of the streets.
